February 2013 - Please note that February 2nd and 9th are no longer available and for February 16th, we are offering a special Valentine's Day Divan in Alliston. My good friend and colleague Catherine Wilson and her husband Tom at Alliston B&B (www.allistonbandb.com) are hosting this event. Please contact us either through this site or the site for the Alliston B&B for availability and more details. February 23rd is available should a divan in the city be more to your liking.

March 2013 - Divans for the month of March are the 2nd, 9th and 16th - all Saturdays. Being that the divan on the 16th falls on the eve of St Patrick's Day, it might be worth trying to have a completely green menu!

As always, should you prefer a divan on another date and/or at  venue that suits you better just contact us we would only be too pleased to accomodate the request. Please drop a line should you have questions or need more information.

This morning it occurred to me that we are almost in mid-December; as they say where has the time gone? May I take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season with loved ones and the best for the coming year.

It is time to plan divans for the next two months; in January they will be the 12th, 19th and 26th all Saturdays. In February will again be all Saturdays - 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd.

As many of you may recall I have been writing a column for an online magazine for some time, here is a link to the latest one : http://canadianimmigrant.ca/settling-in-canada/healthy-diabetes-friendly-recipes-for-the-holiday-season.

In the meanwhile I look forward to hosting several of you at one of the upcoming divans. It is always possible to hold a private divan or 'spice' it up, feel free to contact me via the 'contact' link to discuss the options.

Hello and I hope everyone had a wonderful summer so far. The fall is usually busy for most people so I thought I would work a couple of months in advance. Here are the dates for divans in October, in addition to the ones already posted on the website for September namely; Sep 1st, 15th and 22nd. All Saturdays.

In October the dates, all Saturdays also are Oct 6th and 27th. At the moment Oct 13th is not available, but should it be a date you wish to book we might be able to adjust things.

As usual in addition to these dates, we would be delighted to be of assistance should you wish to have a private divan at a date and venue of your choice. Look forward to hosting you this fall.

Where has the time gone? All of the sudden it is the end of the month and I realise no dates have been posted! Please don't let a lapse like this discourage you from contacting us regarding dates for divans here or a private one just for you and your group.

November has already become somewhat busy. We are only a week away but with enough people we can swing a divan for this coming weekend Nov 2nd (Fri) or 3rd (Sat). Other dates in November are 17th and 24th - both Saturdays.

It isn't too early to plan a private divan as a special way to celebrate Christmas with friends and family or even an office party. Do call or send us a quick message for more information. Regular divans are planned for the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd - again all Saturdays.

It is always an option to add an interesting ingredient to your divan in the form of a cooking lesson, perhaps as a gift, or use it as your Christmas book club meeting.

Look forward to seeing several of you in the near future with your friends and family.

Happy Summer to all. We will be taking a break at the beginning of August from the 1st until the 16th inlcusive. We will be ready and look forward to hosting you on Saturday August 18th. The following Saturday is a celebration for my wonderful friend Ratna Omidvar who is receiving the Order of Canada, we are of course always delighted to host a private divan for a minimum of 6 people at a date and venue that suits you.

In September we are planning divans for the 1st, 15th and 22nd, all Saturdays. It is always possible to attach a cooking class before the divan; contact me for details.

Wish you a safe, healthy and delicious summer and look forward to seeing you in the not too distant future.
